Strawberry farmers to benefit from $5-million allocation under Agriculture Ministry’s incentive programme

The island’s major strawberry farmers are to benefit from an allocation of $5 million to assist them in the growth and development of the crop for the 2020/21 season under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries’ Production Incentive Programme. The Cannabis Licensing Authority (CLA) says it is at an advanced stage of finalising a policy for a Cultivator’s (Transitional) Special Permit.
